Composed by Luiz Bonfa, for the 1959 movie Orfeu Negro (Black Orpheus in Portuguese). The original title of this tune is "Manha de Carnival". This song is one of the first Bossa Nova tunes to become popular outside of Brazil. The tune is most commonly played in the key of A minor.
